Netflix science fiction
One of Netflix’s best, most imaginative, and innovative science-fiction shows have recently returned.
The third season of Love, Death & Robots was just released on Netflix yesterday, and it’s fantastic, featuring some of the best animations I’ve ever seen.
There are nine episodes in Season 3. One is a follow-up to a tale that began in Season 2, marking the first time that one of the show’s short films has received a sequel.
Even the episode names are enough to get you excited for some weird, odd science fiction—not to mention the stories they’re based on and the creative directors and animation studios who brought them to life. This season also marks the premiere of David Fincher’s Love, Death, and Robots.

Check out the Season 3’s episodes:
The Very Pulse of the Machine, directed by Emily Dean, based on the story by Michael Swanick
Night of the Mini-Dead, directed by Robert Bisi & Andy Lyon, based on the story by Jeff Fowler and Tim Miller
In Vaulted Halls Entombed, directed by Jerome Chen, based on the story by Alan Baxter
Jibaro, directed and written by Alberto Mielgo
Three Robots: Exit Straggles, directed by Patrick Osborne, is based on the story by John Scalzi.
Bad Traveling, directed by David Fincher, based on the story by Neal Asher.
Kill Team Kill, directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, based on the story by Justin Coates
Swarm, directed by Tim Miller, based on the story by Bruce Sterling
Mason’s Rats, directed by Carlos Stevens, based on the story by Neal Asher (and adapted to script by one of my favorite fantasy authors, Joe Abercrombie)
